If you are an individual, a corporation or an attorney who needs an experienced law firm in appellate matters, our firm is equipped and ready to help you. We offer a thorough, result-focused approach to every case.
We stress to clients the importance of knowing that appeals do not involve presenting additional evidence. Rather, appeals involve an appellate court reconsidering a trial court’s legal errors based on the trial court record.
Our firm represents clients in appeals cases involving:
• Decisions not supported by competent evidence
• Errors committed by the court or jury
• Courts that exceeded their jurisdiction
• Courts that abused their discretion
An appeal must be timely filed, and delaying an action can result in lost opportunities. Ordinarily, an appeal must be filed within 30 days of the filing of the order being appealed. Failure to file an appeal within this 30-day timeframe will result in the appeal being dismissed.
We support our clients with the following Appellate Advocacy services in Florida state and federal courts:
• Real Estate
If you are interested in filing a criminal appeal, we will conduct a thorough investigation into your claim to evaluate the merits of a potential appeal.
You cannot approach an appeal the same way you tried the original case. An appeal is not a second chance to make the same argument. Instead, an appeal is your chance to establish legal error at the trial level.
